“Monitoring the new ‘Blue Arctic’ is very important in predicting climate change”

Jun Inoue is a specialist in Arctic meteorology at Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC). Since completing his studies at the Hokkaido University and in the United States, he has been working on the complex relations between sea ice, the ocean and the atmosphere at JAMSTEC’s Research Institute for Global Change (RIGC).
